Friday night Hula Hoop classes


Our Friday night Hula Hoop Classes are a fun way to build strength, endurance, and grace. In our classes we start by learning on and off body movements, poses, and flows with our hula hoop.


Sometimes we get frustrated when the hoop falls. It's okay. Falling hoops are part of the process. I always say, if it falls, it falls. What do we do when our hoop falls? Well, we can pick it up, or kick it up. As we learn how to interact with our hoop, it may fall quite a few times. Don't let it get to you. We are still building muscle, gaining control, as well as coordination. This takes time. So if the hoop falls, take it as a sign to do an impromptu dance solo. Dancing and Hula Hooping should be fun. Although, sometimes as we learn it can also be challenging. Practice a little bit every day, and when it stops being fun, take a break and try again when you've had a chance to rest your body.
